Graphic Organizers for Reading Magazines

We have created these organizers to help you teach children to find important information in magazines.  These make great research organizers!  We have three to choose from so you can easily differentiate instruction for each child.

Organizer 1   Simple for kids who need more support.  Students predict what they will learn, draw a picture of one fact they are taught through the reading and draw a picture.

Organizer 2  This version asks students to predict, share the title or two articles and state one fact they learned from each article.

Organizer 3    This is designed to be printed front to back.  Students predict, draw a picture and share facts about three different articles.

These organizers are designed to help support the following Common Core Standards:

CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RI.2.2, CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RI.2.5, CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RI.2.6, CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RI.2.10, CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RI.3.5, CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RI.3.7, CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RI.3.10
