How often do you spend time searching for the perfect video to accompany your math lesson? We love adding a video option to our lessons – we think it can often be helpful for students to have new information presented in different ways and viewing a video can be a great way to do so. About a year ago we discovered Common Core 4 Kids, a site that provides math videos to address CCSS indicators. We recently revisited the site and were excited to see all of the new videos that have been added. Even better is the fact that they are currently offering a FREE 12 MONTH trial for schools, classrooms and districts! The goal is for this to help them reach 20,000 subscribers on YouTube. So, hop on over to Common Core 4 Kids, sign up for your free trial AND make sure you subscribe to their YouTube channel!
Just in case you need us to make this a little easier for you, here are the steps…
1. Subscribe to the Common Core 4 Kids YouTube channel. Here’s the link… https://www.youtube.com/user/CommonCore4Kids
2. Email Jason at Jason@commoncore4kids.com and give him the name of the school or district and an email to use for contact information.
Once he gets your email, he will setup your free account and email you back with the log in information.
**Please take note that you might get an email stating it is 30 day trial – Ignore this as it is a year trial*
How easy is that!?! Definitely worth your time – you will be so happy you have a new tool to use when teaching your students.
