Editable binder covers can add the perfect touch to your classroom organization!
Be sure to read to the bottom of the post for links to our free teacher planning binder, reading management binder & student data tracking binder.
Every teacher has the wish to make the new school year more organized than the previous one. However, we know from experience that the best intentions are often hard to keep!
We have found that beginning the year with a new planning binder that is well organized is one easy way to get the year started in the right direction.
We were excited to find a wide assortment of durable Avery binders and dividers to use in putting together new planners – there were so many choices but we decided to stick to the ones with clear covers so we could add our own, fun binder covers.
We created a collection of editable binder covers to add to our binders.
We have created an assortment of covers so you can choose one that fits your classroom. The files are created in PowerPoint.
All you need to do is download the files, open and edit to make them yours!
You will need the fonts Road Movie and AdLib BT.
We have also included spines to add to your binders. Just edit the text and insert into the side of your binder.

Once you have your trendy binder ready to go, check out our other tips for starting the year off right!
1. Be ready to focus on community building the first week of school! We know that there are assessments to complete, supplies to organize and information to collect. But, make sure you schedule time to work on getting to know each other well. A strong sense of community is an important part of a successful classroom.
2. Have a plan for collecting and organizing supplies. Make sure you think this through ahead of time! Students will show up with bags of supplies the first day and dump them in your newly organized room. Having a plan for organizing will help you make sure your room isn’t a mess on day one.
3. Prepare a parent-information letter for the first day of school. As parents, we know that students will always come home and respond with “nothing” when asked what they did. Help anxious parents learn about their child’s first day with a simple note that tells about the day.
If you don’t yet have an organizational binder, you can check out ours. We have many free binders that will make planning much easier!
