Use these money clip cards for an engaging math center. Print, laminate and add clothespins.
These money clip cards are an easy to make center that engages students and also lets them self-check so that you can meet with small skill groups.
This is a set of 44 cards that gives students practice with adding coins up to $1.00. The cards start very basic with just knowing the amounts of the individual coins and then gradually get more difficult. Just print and cut out the cards. Then mark the correct answers on the backs of the cards with a mark or a sticker. Finally, laminate and place at a center with clothespins or another type of clip.
To practice, students count the money, place the clip on the answer they believe is correct and then turn the card over to check their answers. As an added form of practice, you could also require students to draw the coins on paper from, label them and then show their thinking/addition as they count up. (This also provides an added level of accountability for students.)

Thank you so much for this being free! I just don’t have time to make my own and can’t keep spending money.
