This Christmas in Australia booklet contains 10 pages and can be printed front to back to help you save paper.
This booklet begins with a five paragraph passage that tells about how the Aussies celebrate Christmas in Australia. The other pages provide opportunities for children to read more facts, color and complete sentences about the celebration.
As a fun extension, you might look to share common foods eaten during this time.
Another option is to have kids do a spirit day where they dress as children would during Christmas in Australia. It could be a beach day with the purpose of learning about other places.
There are also pages that ask children to research to find additional facts. These are marked with a tablet picture in the bottom right.
