Number Representation Cards

Download these free number representation cards for numbers 1 through 10 to help your students learning to identify numbers.

This is another free resource for teachers and families from The Curriculum Corner.

Our free number representation cards are designed to help your preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students who are learning the numbers 1 through 10.

As your early learners are beginning to count and identify numbers, it can be helpful to have a variety of resources available.

Download these free number representation cards for numbers 1 through 10 to help your students learning to identify numbers.

Creating your number representation cards

This download contains two sets of cards. The first ten pages have a blue background. The next ten pages are the same except with a white background. This will help teachers looking to conserve color ink.

Print the set of cards you would like for your classroom. We suggest printing on heavy card stock to help extend the life of the cards.

For additional durability, laminate the cards.

Cut apart the cards and they are ready to go.

Using these number representation cards

After creating your cards, decide which cards you will present your students with.

Some students might be ready for the entire collection. Others might benefit from have a smaller range of numbers. Still others might be ready to have just two or three cards available from each page.

You might have students sort the cards. They will put all of the representations of 1 in one pile and the representations of 2 in another.

Some students might be give one form of each number and be asked to put them in order from least to greatest.
