These ready to go morning centers have a holiday theme. Print and laminate for easy and fun morning centers! These centers contain clip art and backgrounds with a holiday theme. However, other than the letter to Santa, they do not contain tasks that pertain to the holidays.
December Calendar Students practice following directions while creating a December calendar.
Santa Oh No! Students pick a card from the pile and read the word. If they get the Oh No! card, they must return all of their cards to the center. Each set contains 27 cards. The outline color for the words is different for each set – just in case your kids mix them up, this will make for easier sorting!
Math Dice Print two or three of our holiday dice in color and assemble. Provide each student with the just right recording sheet. Students roll the dice, create a math problem and solve. This center is created to make it easy for you to differentiate!
Noun Sort Print and assemble the two baskets – one labeled singular nouns and the other labeled plural nouns. Students sort the noun cards into the singular or plural basket.
Letter to Santa Kids love this activity but parents can cringe when they encourage children to write a letter asking for toys. We have created this letter to encourage children to share what they think they have done well this year. Along with writing their list, students also request something for someone else. They finish with what they will do to help others. It’s still a letter to Santa, but with a twist!
We have more center ideas for younger children on our family site. You will find these activities here…
