Of course there are tools like thermometers you can add to your study but children can learn without them as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So much of what students need is available right outside your classroom window. Check out a variety of books related to weather and leave them in a basket at the center.&nbsp;You can include a response question such as &ldquo;What I Learned From My Independent Reading Today&rdquo;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">Centers Included<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Future Meteorologist<\/span><\/strong> &ndash; At this center students will make observations about what they see outside. They can then compare it to the real weather forecast for where they live. If you have a volunteer in your classroom, you can have that adult take groups of students outside to feel and view the weather conditions.&nbsp;Then, they return to the classroom and check the weather forecast on tablets or computers.&nbsp;(If your students don&rsquo;t have access to these, print out the forecast and leave it at the center for them to use.)<\/li><li><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Weather Flapbook<\/span><\/strong> &ndash; This flapbook has students describing and illustrating four simple weather terms: <em>sun<\/em>, <em>wind<\/em>, <em>rain<\/em> &amp; <em>snow<\/em>.<\/li><li><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Ready for the Weather<\/span><\/strong> &ndash; This sorting center has students use their reasoning skills to match the outfits or clothing items with the weather listed.
