We want this to be a resource for teachers in the classroom. Plus, we are hoping that those who need a science activity for students at home will also be able to use this journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This journal includes a total of 25 pages. You will most likely not use all of the pages created. Instead, you will look at what we have and choose the pages that meet the needs of your students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Here are some of the options:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Title page<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bird Web <\/strong>Students will begin to activate schema by building a web of information they already have about birds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I wonder&hellip;<\/strong> Students will share questions they have about birds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nest Observations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Listening Observations <\/strong>If birds can be heard outside your school, move your science class outside and observe!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Clay Birds<\/strong> Have your students use modeling clay to make their own birds. to conclude the lesson, they can draw and label their model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eagle Cam <\/strong>This is an amazing way to bring eagles into your classroom! This site shares multiple eagle cameras so students can make like observations. Check it out here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eagles.org\/what-we-do\/educate\/live-hd-nest-cams\/\">Eagle Cam<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Falcon Cam<\/strong> This steam is found here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dep.pa.gov\/Citizens\/EnvironmentalEducation\/PAFalcon\/Pages\/default.aspx\">Pennylvania Falcon Cam<\/a>. This one is on the 15th floor of a building. Every year the peregrine falcons return to the same spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Egg and Chick Journal Pages<\/strong> If you will be hatching eggs in your classroom, these pages are for you!
