While writing answers can help many children memorize facts, it is important to weave in other, hands-on activities as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You want to find ways that involve movement when possible and ways that will engage children in the work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You might create a life-sized version of these math wheels. You can tape off your own math wheel shape on your carpet. Be sure to make it child-sized so that students can stand in each section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This math wheel you create can be used to practice addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, make a set of cards to be used with this math wheel. You might just use large index cards or just cut a piece of construction paper into four equal pieces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Give students a task. You might say, create a math wheel for division facts with 9 as a divisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can then have students work together to make a life-sized math wheel. They can lay the cards in the spots and write the numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the cards contain numbers, they can scramble the cards and pass on to another group of students. This new group can work to place the cards in the math wheel on the correct spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The great thing about this activity is that it will make it easy for you to differentiate for students working on different facts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">These Division Fact Math Wheels<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This set of math wheels focuses on division facts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each wheel has a divisor in the middle.
