We have created this collection of activities to help your students recognize and use the endings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Posters&nbsp;<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/wp-content\/pdf\/verbs\/edposter.PDF\" target=\"_blank\">-ed poster<\/a>&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/wp-content\/pdf\/verbs\/ingposter.PDF\" target=\"_blank\">-ing poster<\/a>&nbsp;&nbsp; Hang these in your room and encourage students to record words they find in their reading on the posters.&nbsp; You might have one set in your room or one set for each group of students.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/wp-content\/pdf\/verbs\/bookmark.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Bookmarks<\/a>&nbsp; Use these to reinforce the skills you are practicing during independent reading time.&nbsp; Students record three words to fit each category.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/wp-content\/pdf\/verbs\/endingcards.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Endings&nbsp;Cards Center<\/a>&nbsp; Print and laminate the cards.&nbsp;&nbsp;Students pick&nbsp;one polka dotted and one striped card.&nbsp; They then complete the form to record their learning.&nbsp; We have&nbsp;included two forms with this center so you can&nbsp;easily differentiate for your students.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/wp-content\/pdf\/verbs\/verbdice.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Roll an Ending<\/a>&nbsp;&nbsp; Print the dice&nbsp;on construction paper and assemble.&nbsp; At the&nbsp;center, students record what they have rolled and&nbsp;write the word with the correct ending.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/wp-content\/pdf\/verbs\/pargraph.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Paragraph<\/a>&nbsp; This paragraph&nbsp;asks students to read and find the verbs with the incorrect endings.&nbsp; They then make corrections at the&nbsp;bottom.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/wp-content\/pdf\/verbs\/pretest.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Practice Page<\/a>&nbsp;
