Our kids thought it was fun to use their&nbsp;M&amp;M&rsquo;s&reg; to complete the patterns on each card. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/thecurriculumcorner123\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/mm5.jpg\"><noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8789 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/thecurriculumcorner123\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/mm5-1024x523.jpg\" alt=\"Math fun with M&amp;M's&reg; FREE math activities from The Curriculum Corner | pattern cards | counting cards | concrete graph\" width=\"650\" height=\"332\"><\/noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8789 aligncenter lazyload\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/thecurriculumcorner123\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/mm5-1024x523.jpg.webp\" alt=\"Math fun with M&amp;M's&reg; FREE math activities from The Curriculum Corner | pattern cards | counting cards | concrete graph\" width=\"650\" height=\"332\" data-pin-media=\"https:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/thecurriculumcorner123\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/mm5.jpg\" id=\"mv-trellis-img-3\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"><\/a><\/li>\n<li>The last set of cards are designed for kids learning to count. &nbsp;You can use these in two different ways. &nbsp;You can use the cards with the&nbsp;M&amp;M&rsquo;s&reg; images and have your kids match them with the numbers. &nbsp;Or, you can use the blank cards we included and give you children numbers. &nbsp;They then have to place the correct number of&nbsp;M&amp;M&rsquo;s&reg; on the card.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>As a bonus idea, you might even try using Life Savers to help your children practice patterns.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/thecurriculumcorner123\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/mm4.jpg\"><br>\n<noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8790 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/thecurriculumcorner123\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/mm4-1024x688.jpg\" alt=\"Math fun with M&amp;M's&reg; FREE math activities from The Curriculum Corner | pattern cards | counting cards | concrete graph\" width=\"651\" height=\"437\"><\/noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8790 aligncenter lazyload\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/thecurriculumcorner123\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/mm4-1024x688.jpg.webp\" alt=\"Math fun with M&amp;M's&reg; FREE math activities from The Curriculum Corner | pattern cards | counting cards | concrete graph\" width=\"651\" height=\"437\" data-pin-media=\"https:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/thecurriculumcorner123\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/mm4.jpg\" id=\"mv-trellis-img-4\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We also like the idea of using Skittles&reg; &nbsp;for additional learning during the summer.<\/p>\n<p>Younger kids can practice colors and sorting skills by dividing the candies in piles by colors.<\/p>\n<p>Another idea is to have children count the number of each color and then practice adding multiple numbers by adding the five numbers.<\/p>\n<p>Again, these candies can also be used for creating simple patterns.<\/p>\n<p>Have older kids you would like to include?
