24px), 720px\" data-pin-media=\"https:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/thecurriculumcorner456\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/fall-challenge-pinterest.jpg\" id=\"mv-trellis-img-2\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">Setting up your fall problem solving cards<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We suggest printing on card stock and laminating this set for durability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After laminating, cut apart the word problem cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can choose to have students complete as a center task by placing the cards in a basket and providing students with a recording page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you choose to play as a Scoot game, there are also recording forms for this, numbered 1 &ndash; 24. &nbsp;&nbsp;Scoot activities are an easy way to incorporate movement, yet still provide practice and engagement for students. &nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All you need to do for this activity is to print and laminate the cards and copy a recording page for each student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">Playing Scoot<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To play&nbsp;Scoot,&nbsp;place one card at each student&rsquo;s seat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They will begin writing on their recording page at the number of the card at their seat. &nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After giving students a few minutes to solve the problem, the teacher yells &ldquo;Scoot&rdquo; to signal students to rotate to a new seat. &nbsp;(You will need to plan out the direction and path of the rotation before beginning.) &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The activity continues until students have traveled to each spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-white-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-background-color has-text-color has-background\">You can download this free fall problem solving set here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-large-font-size\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/thecurriculumcorner456\/wp-content\/pdf\/math\/problem%20solving\/fall%20challenge.pdf\">Fall Word Problems<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking for other fall math resources?
