After laminating, cut apart the word problem cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many of the problems require multiple steps and are designed to be a challenge for students. You might find that some of the problems are good for group problem solving tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with the task cards, you will find recording pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One page is not numbered the other two pages are number 1 through 24 and can be printed front to back. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An answer key is at the end of the download.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">How to use these winter challenge problem solving task cards<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can choose to have students complete as a center task by placing the cards in a basket and providing students with a recording page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you choose to play as a Scoot game, use the recording forms number 1 &ndash; 24 for this.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Scoot activities are an easy way to incorporate movement, yet still provide practice and engagement for students. &nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All you need to do for this activity is to print and laminate the cards and copy a recording page for each student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To play&nbsp;Scoot,&nbsp;place one card at each student&rsquo;s seat. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They will begin writing on their recording page at the number of the card at their seat.
