It is not created to be a teaching resource.<\/p>\n<p>After learning about figurative language in your classroom, your students will be ready for our free PowerPoint game!<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">How to Play this Figurative Language Game<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Set this up on your student computers for morning practice or during literacy centers.<\/p>\n<p>You may choose if students are working independently or in groups to encourage discussion.<\/p>\n<p>This game focuses on figurative language skills with a colorful theme perfect for older students.&nbsp; Correct answers are praised with a praise slide.<\/p>\n<p>To play, students need to click on the &ldquo;Click Here to Start&rdquo; link and they will be taken to the first problem.<\/p>\n<p>When a problem is answered correctly, they will receive a slide giving them some praise. &nbsp;Students click on the wording and are taken to the next problem.<\/p>\n<p>Students must click on the actual text for the slides to correctly work.<\/p>\n<p>When students answer a problem incorrectly, they will reach a &ldquo;Try Again&rdquo; slide.
