The multiple choice format will get students used to the format on many tests.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For this activity, print and laminate the cards and copy a recording page for each student.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #993366;\">How To Set Up these Context Clues Task Cards<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>You can choose to simply use these cards at a literacy center. If you are looking for a more active way to use these cards, we are sharing a couple ideas below.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>As a Scoot Game<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Place a card at each students&rsquo; seat.<\/li>\n<li>Students will each receive a recording page. You might want to also have them use a clip board.<\/li>\n<li>Students start with the card at their seat.<\/li>\n<li>Say scoot when you are ready for students to switch spots.<\/li>\n<li>The students will rotate and move on to the next card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hint &ndash; we like to make sure students know the path before they begin!<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>As a Write the Room Game<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Instead of playing this as a scoot game, you could also make it a write the room type of activity.<\/li>\n<li>Place the cards throughout the room and your students can travel around the room during class to find each card.<\/li>\n<li>This is a good alternative to a traditional scoot game because students will not feel rushed to complete each problem.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-4361 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thecurriculumcorner.com\/thecurriculumcorner456\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/context-clues-pinterest-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"context clues task cards\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" data-pin-description=\"These context clues task cards are great for practice or review in your classroom!
