It is not designed to look at the candidates and their platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we were reading about elections in my 6th grade room, I began to feel like there was just too much information in what we were reading. I created this organizer to include the parts I felt would help my students understand what we were discussing. There are so many important parts to a presidential election. This organizer fit the texts we had. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I emphasized that this page as for notes only. I did not have students write sentences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Students will be asked to take notes on the following:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What are the 3 branches of government in our country?
