As teachers, we are always looking for ways to get our students excited about reading new books. By using this Librarian of the Week quick tip, you will be able to expose your children to even more books! Choose a new student each week to be the classroom librarian. This student can be responsible for keeping the classroom library organized but the most important aspect of their job is the fun part! Each Friday, send home a book bag with the Librarian of the Week. This student then chooses 5 books from their home library to share with the class. The student brings back the bag on Monday and the teacher sets aside time each day to read aloud one of the books.
