We have updated our “I Can” posters! This set has a green chevron background and includes all of the current CCSS standards (as of 5/5/2014) written in kid friendly language. We think these are great for helping students and parents understand the Common Core and what is expected. Of course, we also think these are a great tool for teachers to use in their planning. We hope you find these as useful as we do.
Our updated first grade “I Can” posters can be found here: First Grade Green Chevron Posters
Our updated second grade “I Can” posters can be found here: Second Grade Green Chevron Posters

May 5, 2014 at 11:10 pmGreat freebie! In VA we don’t have the common core, but I’ve worked on writing “I Can” statements for the standards we are required to teach.
Blessings,

October 27, 2014 at 2:48 pmHi – In GA, our standards are listed slightly different from how they are printed on these posters. The ending numbers look the same, though.
Example: K.G.A.1 I can tell where I see shapes by using words like:
above, below, beside, in front of, behind and next to.
Our standard is MCC.K.G.1
Is there a way for me to edit the posters?
Thanks!

November 5, 2014 at 7:55 pmHi, Amanda! We do not yet share a way to edit these posters although we are looking into it. We do not provide the editable version because we have had so many teachers take our I Can statements and then sell them on TPT.

November 12, 2014 at 4:45 pmGood Morning,
I think your site is amazing! I can’t find the “I Can” statements for KDG in the kid-friendly checklist. Do you have the “I Can” statements in a checklist format for KDG like the other grade levels?
jillandcathy@thecurriculumcorner.com says
November 14, 2014 at 4:52 pmHi Jen! Yes, they can be found on the Kinder Corner.
