As boys get older, it is harder to find humorous books that are at the appropriate reading level. My son Grant needs books around a fifth grade reading level but does not enjoy reading anything serious or without some laughs. With my son’s help, we have found some that are at the right level and entertaining. Of course, our lists begins with The Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series. Most of our books are part of a series. In my home we have found that this makes moving on to the next book easier.
