These free comparing numbers clip cards contain numbers that are 10 or less. They are designed for younger students beginning to practice smaller and bigger numbers.

Give your first grade students some extra hands-on review and practice with comparing numbers at the beginning of the school year by using our greater than, less than or equal to clip cards.

These cards can be used as a center in kindergarten for students learning this skill.

This center is also perfect for a beginning of the year center for first grade students. Using this task as a review will allow your students to practice center skills while completing a task that is not too challenging.

To prepare your center:

  1. Simply print and cut the cards apart.
  2. Next, mark the backs of the cards with a dot or a sticker behind the correct answer on the front.
  3. Then laminate and put the cards in a basket with some clothespins for a practice and self-check math center.
