The second two organizers ask students to think about what they have learned about the animals, choose which they think is the best of the two and provide reasons for their choice.
Various Organizers & Resources – For these organizers, you can place a basket of informational text books focused on reindeer and/or moose in a basket at a literacy center. There are various pages for students to use along with a book they choose. Along with those, there is also a flip booklet that can be glued into an interactive notebook if desired, as well as a blank book students can use as a template to share their learning about these animals. We suggest that you model these resources during mini-lessons first so that students know your expectations.
