This simple pumpkin patch booklet is designed for your beginning readers.
Children will find a sentence repeated on each page along with another sentence.
It includes pictures and simple sentences.
Each page has two sentences that tell about the picture.
At the bottom of the page, students will be given a direction to follow. Students will follow each direction before going on to the next page.
After practicing the booklet with students, be sure to have them add the book to their bag of books or tub of books so that they have a familiar text.
This pumpkin patch following directions booklet is also great for students who might not have access to their own books at home.
After you have used in a small group or at a center, be sure to send it home so children can show their families what they have learned.
To assemble, print the pages in black and white. You can choose to print the books on one side or as a double sided page to conserve paper. Next, cut the pages in half and staple the booklet.
