Assembling your equation sort center

Begin by printing the equation cards on card stock. We are providing them with a white background so you can conserve color ink. You might choose to print on any color of card stock.

After printing, you will want to laminate the equation pages. You can then cut apart the equation cards.

Next, print the true / false cards on white cardstock. Laminate and cut apart these cards.

At the center, children will sort the cards under the true or false category cards. We are providing four pages of equations which will give you 48 equation cards. You might choose to start students with a smaller number of equations and switch them out during the week.

You will also find a recording page you can copy and place at the center. You may have students record a given number of equations in each column.

As an extension, students can make their own cards to add to the center.
