This is another free resource for teachers and families from The Curriculum Corner.

Our new bird journal for students will add to an engaging study of birds in your classrooms.

Birds are a fun topic for a science study in the classroom because often we can make observations by just stepping outside the school. Most students have seen bird nests and eggs and it is likely teachers are able to come across an abandoned nest for students to observe.

We believe that this is an especially timely topic because it is a science topic many students can observe from their own homes.

Science can be hard to teach in a remote learning setting but if you are able to get a birding journal into the hands of your kids, maybe they cane explore a little from their window.

Taking a look at our Bird Journal for Students

Our intent when creating this journal was to put together a journal that will be useful in multiple settings. We want this to be a resource for teachers in the classroom. Plus, we are hoping that those who need a science activity for students at home will also be able to use this journal.

This journal includes a total of 25 pages. You will most likely not use all of the pages created. Instead, you will look at what we have and choose the pages that meet the needs of your students.
