Daily Questions for Mornings

This daily questions for mornings set includes name tags and 80 questions.

These daily questions for mornings will give you an easy way to take attendance each day.

This is another free resource for teachers from The Curriculum Corner.

This set includes 80 questions.

Each question gives students two choices for a response.

Setting up your attendance spot

These were designed to create an easy attendance check each day.

As students enter the classroom, they will move their name from the starting spot to their response.

Getting your set ready

You will begin by choosing the name set you would like to use.

One set is blank for you to print and then add numbers to.

The second set has been created for you to edit in PowerPoint. You will download and save the file. The font I used in the sample is Hawaiian Aloha BTN but you can choose your favorite!

Once the tags have names, cut them apart and add magnets to the back.

The questions will print two on a page. I had mine print front and back to save paper. I then laminated the pages and cut them in half.

How to use these question cards

Each morning, I choose a question card and put it on the board.

I also add the a. and b. headings. Students move their name from the middle to their response. I can tell who is absent by looking to see which names remain in the middle.

When making these cards, I tried to include a variety of questions to cover the interests of many of my students.

You can choose the question each morning or have a student choose the question to use.
