Digital Building Numbers with Base 10 Blocks

This is another free resource for teachers and parents from The Curriculum Corner.

Add this digital base 10 blocks game for building number up to 100 to your distance learning collection.

We are working to help teachers build their collection of distance learning resources. This is the first in a series of digital games designed with moveable pieces.

Our New Digital Collection

Our new digital collection of games will include a PowerPoint version along with a Google Slides version when possible. The PowerPoint games are perfect for the computer or interactive white board in your classroom. The Google Slides file can be used on a computer or on an iPad or other tablet.

This format is new to us – we are learning along with you on this one! If you encounter any difficulties, please let us know. We are trying to work out any bugs before sharing but would love a little extra help as you are using them with your students.

Digital: Building with Base 10 Blocks up to 100 Game

The game begins with an introduction slide.

To play, students will click on slide two.

Children will be able to drag and drop tens and ones blocks from the column on the left into the work space.

They will be working to build the number on top.

When finished, they can slide over the animal box and check their answer.

**Unlike our other PowerPoint games, these slides are not linked to move from slide to slide. Children will need to choose normal view. (Playing as a presentation will prevent the pieces from being moveable.)

**In Google Slides, children will simply open the file. They will not select Present. They will click from slide to slide on the left column.

When I copy your Google Slides products, I can't edit them, or interact with them. I can't move the base ten blocks in this activity.

Hi, Katie! Try saving a copy to your Google Drive. This has worked for others.
