Earth Day Collection of Resources for Teachers

Earth Day Collection

This is another free collection of resources for teachers from The Curriculum Corner.

We have worked to create a collection of resources perfect for Earth Day in the classroom.

The environmental resources we are sharing below cover a range of topics and grade levels. We hope everyone is able to find an item or two that is perfect for their students!

Within our collection, we have included literacy centers. Our newest sentence mat collection is made with real photos.

You will find a few favorite book studies that focus on environmentalists.

Also, work on writing skills with some of our lessons. Students can practice writing like scientists or even develop their writing skills while using Seymour Simon as a mentor author.

You can access each free resource by clicking on the images below.

We are always looking for new ideas. If you have a favorite book for us to use for future book studies, please let us know. Other ideas of resources that might fit into our Earth Day collection are welcome as well!

For a hands on science activity, try this Composting for Kids experiment.

As with all of our resources, The Curriculum Corner creates these for free classroom use. Our products may not be sold. You may print and copy for your personal classroom use. These are also great for home school families!

You may not modify and resell in any form. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Is there any too create your sentence mats in Google or PowerPoint? That would be great and would be a perfect activity for the smart board.

Thank you Michele
