How to Introduce Your Ocean Unit
As you look to begin your unit of study, think about how you can bring the ocean to your classroom.
You might play an ocean scene on your smart board with the sounds of the ocean. If you don’t have a smartboard, try just playing the sounds of the ocean.
Create a center where students can pick up and touch different seashells.
Maybe add a sensory bin.
