This is another free resource for teachers from The Curriculum Corner.

When working on mastering math facts, we are always looking to add additional engaging resources to help our students.

We always prefer games over worksheets and this is a fun way to get your kids working on math facts.

One benefit of this game is that you can have each student use a different color or crayon to circle their answers.

You can then collect the game boards at the end. If you need evidence of student learning, you have it from this game board.

Cookies & Milk Making a Dozen Partner Game

This is an addition game that has two boards on a page.

There are three different versions included, each geared towards different ability levels.

In each game, students will be asked to add groups of 2 or 3 numbers to get to 1 dozen, 2 dozen or 3 dozen.

With the three versions, you will be able to easily differentiate for different needs! You will find two of the first version with 1 dozen.

Students will need a vis a vis marker or other writing item for playing if your boards are not laminated.

One thing that is great about this making a dozen game is that you will be able to make copies and send home with your students. Instead of a worksheet, students can complete a game with a family member for homework.

We are always in support of providing a game for family time over a worksheet!
