This Splashes of Spring Math Collection is designed for intermediate classrooms. Free & perfect for some of your spring math centers!
We know that finding math centers for intermediate classrooms can be challenging – and it’s even harder to find free versions. For this reason, we will be continuing to create seasonal and themed math centers that will fit into 4th & 5th grade classrooms. If you have specific theme or skill requests, please let us know!
The link to download the complete set of printables can be found by clicking on the orange link at the bottom of the post. We suggest printing in color and laminating for durability. Use at your math centers or for some engaging review morning centers as your students come into the classroom.
We have included the following printables in this collection:
Multiplication & Division Facts Review Game Boards – These simple board games are designed to be used with a game piece for each player. Students take turns rolling a die and moving. The first to the finish is the winner.
Spring Showers Multiplication Bump – You will find two different Bump games. One to be used with traditional dice and the other designed for 10-sided dice.
Four in a Row Multiplication Game – Students take turns choosing two numbers, multiplying and then covering the product. The first player with four in a row is the winner.
Place Value Match – Use this set of cards as a matching game or sorting task. Students match standard form, word form and extended form.
Spring Fling Math – Supply students with the appropriate number cards and direction cards. Students follow directions, record the problem and solve.
Matching Expressions – Students match the expression with its explanation at a sorting center.
Print & Go Practice Pages – Four ready to go pages for when you need a quick review or practice activity!
Operations Practice Task Cards – These cards can be used for any number of games (SCOOT), practice or centers. Recording sheets and answer key provided.
