About these spring reading centers
Use these spring reading centers when you need to pull together an engaging center for your students that meet standards.
We’ve included a variety of activities designed to be used as center work during your reading workshop.
Set up your centers by first printing on heavy card stock.
Next, laminate the pages for durability and copy the recording pages for students.
We have updated this set to now include a version on a white background. This will be helpful for those of you looking to conserve color ink.
You will find the following activities in the download:
Synonym Match Students match the synonym cards – can be used as a simple sort or as a matching game. There is also a recording page.
Sentence Sort Students sort the sentences into the correct category depending on the type of sentence.
Spring Phrases We have provided four different sentences. Students choose one, record the sentence and draw a picture to show what they visualize.
